WE’RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WITH A SONG IN THEIR HEART…Nothing surpasses the beauty of a song that springs from the lips of a heart that has been changed. As the redeemed, we have a song to sing; a song that reflects the work of God in our lives; a song that expresses our love and devotion to Christ; a song—the only song that is worth singing.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WITH A SONG IN THEIR HEART WHO ARE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD…To quote the old hymn, “All is vain unless the Spirit of the Holy One comes down.” God’s Word through Zechariah was, “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit.” Even our Savior reminded us, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” Only as the Holy Spirit fills each person and anoints each song is the fragrance of Christ lavished on every needy soul—a pleasing aroma to our Heavenly Father.

Becky Cole: I was exhausted, but it was the most exciting and uplifting thing I have ever been involved in.

This experience made us, as a choir, really listen to each other!!

Dolores Littleton: It’s hard to believe the soloists were not professional.

Kerri Horton: The recording process really brought out our best.   It was the perfect vehicle for the Holy Spirit to do His work!

L. Schoenhals: A blessing to be a part of this presentation—a fun time and no stress atmosphere!

I have a new appreciation for professional recording artists.

S. Stewart: A worshipful, unifying experience.

Brad Biddy: One of the most grueling challenges I have ever faced. The reward was even bigger than the task.  It was amazing to watch God work in His people.

Amy Harrell: The recording project was not just a project.  It was a glorious time of worship in which a multitude of voices brought glory, honor, and praise to an audience of ONE, our Holy Father!

Crystal Keene: There really is nothing like a choir of voices making a joyful noise unto the Lord.   As wonderful as it is to pack the pews, it was awesome singing for an audience of one.   Thank You, Lord, for your presence at our recording sessions. 

Darlene Stine:  From the beginning of rehearsals I didn’t see how we (I) could do justice to some of the selections for this CD, but as we continued to rehearse the music really pulled at my heart.  Then, the recording sessions became inspirational as we gave all we had to our Lord.  I had hoped this CD would be a blessing to all who might hear, but more than that, I was filled with God’s message and blessed beyond belief.  James, thanks for stretching us to do our best.  I will forever remember what fun we had putting this together.

Wonderful worship experience.  Visited by God.

A relaxed spiritually uplifting time of worship.  God’s Spirit was evident in all that was said and done.

It truly was a worship experience and I felt the presence of the Lord in every song.

That’s just part of what people have said about past Homecoming evenings at QSBC.  And we’re gearing up for another evening of praise and worship that you won’t want to miss!  Join us at 6:30 Sunday evening, August 22 in the QSBC Worship Center for A Round-Up Homecoming.

I just felt like I had really been in church.  That God was there with us.  The solos were wonderful.

 

Last night was an awesome time!  Thank you and all those who participated for a wonderful time of worship and praise.  The selection of songs and talent could not have been better.  There was only one thing wrong with it; it was too short!  Just kidding of course; it was perfect. 

 

Fantastic!  Inspiring!  Atmosphere of camaraderie and fellowship!  Lovely!  Blessed!  Thrilling! –to name a few.  Thanks for sending the blue card—it urged me to come and sing.  How I appreciate being a part of it. 

 

We thought the entire program was absolutely blessed to every heart.  We have heard many wonderful comments (that night) as well as later.  It was well choreographed and the orchestra added so much, (some thought it was recorded).

 

Please have another “Homecoming” soon.  Everything and everyone was wonderful Sunday night.  Such a blessing!  The selection of songs was the best.

 

Needs to be a yearly program.  Excellent music—beautiful.  Great planning through the entire program.  Every hymn so meaningful.

 

I was blessed by the music.  I hope the congregation enjoyed our singing.

 

Love those old hymns.  Nice mix.  That little boy blew me away—an evening of spiritual blessing.

 

Excellent!!! Loved the songs, quartets and all.  Felt I’d died and gone to Heaven.  Could not have been better.  A real worship experience.

 

Just a note to let you know that was one awesome music program Sunday night.

 

It was a real blessing to all in attendance.  

 

The Homecoming Program was powerful and identified with all of our people.  Having people from all of the choirs made it a total church program, even though some were better singers than others, they made the whole group sound good.  It was certainly well planned and directed by outstanding professional leaders.  The program included many songs that our members knew which added much to it’s success.  It should be an annual event because of its far-reaching influence for Christ.

 

The service last night was awesome!  We loved the great music and thought it was such an uplifting praise service.  Our church is blessed with great talent.
